Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Seward, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.

The Owner is the Schoharie County, and the work site is/are located in the Town of Seward. The projects limits extend from: approximately 253 feet before the bridge and approximately 218 feet after the bridge. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: replacement with a new truss superstructure supported on concrete abutments. Heavy stone fill will be placed in the vicinity of the wing walls and along West Creek. Steel four-rail bridge rail shall be installed. This project will incorporate full-depth pavement reconstruction. The proposed work will be performed while traffic is maintained via an offsite detour.
