The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: Furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of Schaller Drinking Water Improvements Raw Water Main project, which consists of: 1. Installation of approximately 280 linear feet of new 6- inch diameter restrained joint water main by trenched construction. 2. Installation of approximately 405 linear feet of new 6-inch diameter restrained joint water main by trenchless construction. 3. Water main appurtenances including new valves, fittings, flushing hydrants, connections to existing water mains, and related appurtenances. 4. Driveway and Sidewalk removal and replacement, including 225 square yards of new Granular Driveway, and related appurtenances. 5. Temporary traffic control . All other work as required by the Contract Documents. The Work shall be performed within the City of Schaller, Iowa, generally extending from new Well No. 3 located on the Schaller-Crestland Community School property to the existing water tower and pump house east of South Berwick Street.
