Site work for a water / sewer project in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of existing lead water service lines on both the public and private side of the right-of-way, from the water main to the meter connection point. Lead Water Service Line Replacement for residential homes in Rockford , Illinois. This work will consist of approximately 400 Replacements through either open-cut trenching operations or directional boring of the water service line. Existing lines are to be abandoned in place upon successful connection of newly installed pipe. Each bid shall be based on the price of one completed service Questions regarding this Bid/RFP shall be addressed to: Vishruti - Vishruti.Patel@rockfordil.gov NOTES: Last day for questions is October 21 , 2026. Answers to questions will be posted to the City's website in the form of an addendum no later than October 27, 2026. As required by the award conditions of USEPA's Assistance Agreement with IEPA, the fair share percentages are 5% for MBES and 12% for WBES.
