The City of Prescott is solicitating bids for a contractor to reline two (2), 24" inlet and outlet pipes along with two (2), 8" drain lines with an NSF 61 approved liner for potable water. The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to prescribe a complete work for the described project which the Contractor shall perform in a manner acceptable to the City Public Works Director and in full compliance with the terms of the Contract. Unless otherwise specified in the Special Provisions, the Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, water, light, power, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and incidentals, but not limited to, dust and traffic control measures, and to perform all work involved in executing the Contract in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner within the specified time. Remove top/lid to valve vault structure on west side of tank for 24" tank inlet/outlet water lines, disassemble the 2-24" water line valve and check valves in vault and re-line the 2-24" water lines from vault to interior of tank inlet/outlet sumps. Excavate earthen area on east side of buried water tank to expose and disassemble the "wye" at the 2-8" drain lines and re-line 2-8" drain lines from the inlet/outlet sumps to where they are disassembled. The four potable water lines are: .24" inlet pipe approximately 270 LF total (195 LF under tank + 75 LF) from valve vault to west side of tank. _24" outlet pipe approximately 104 LF total (29 LF under tank + 75 LF) from valve vault to west side of tank. _8" drain line approximately 47 LF (27 LF under tank + 20 LF) from inlet sump to east side of tank. 8" drain line approximately 222 LF ( 192 LF under tank + 30 LF) from outlet sump to east side of tank.
