The following are the minimum administrative and supervisory personnel necessary for coordination of the work. 1. Personnel a. Administrative and supervisory personnel shall consist of a qualified Competent Person ( s ) as defined by OSHA in the Construction Standards and the Asbestos Construction Standard; Contractor Professional Industrial Hygienist and Industrial Hygiene Technicians . These employees are the Contractor's representatives responsible for compliance with these specifications and all other applicable requirements . b. Non-supervisory personnel shall consist of an adequate number of qualified personnel to meet the schedule requirements of the project. Personnel shall meet required qualifications. Personnel utilized on - site shall be pre- approved by the VA representative . A request for approval shall be submitted for any person to be employed during the project giving the person's name ; last four digits of social security number ; qualifications ; accreditation card with color picture, if required by state ; Certificate of Worker's Acknowledgment ; and Affidavit of Medical Surveillance and Respiratory Protection and current Respirator Fit Test . Magnitude of Construction Between $25,000 and $100,000 Removal and disposal of approximately 215 square feet of asbestos-containing floor tile and associated mastic. Scope includes work plan preparation, containment establishment, air monitoring, clearance testing, waste disposal, and restoration of affected areas.
