Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and municipal facility.

The project area located off of 34 Washington Street, Nantucket Massachusetts consists of an approximately 427 linear foot (1f) fixed pier which extends from Washington street east into Nantucket Harbor and provides access to an approximately 189 lf breakwater wave attenuator and fixed pier system located at the eastern end of the access pier; an approximately 844 sf dinghy dock and four fixed finger piers located on the north side of the access pier; and an approximately 4,982 sf floating dock system located on the south side of the access pier. The pier includes the Town Harbormaster's Office and dockage of their 4 vessels and slips for 102 recreational , commercial and transient vessels . The decking elevation of the fixed pier system is 5.4 ft NAVD88 . The floating dock system suffered significant damage following historical storm events and was replaced with a concrete floating dock system in 2024. Storm events in October 2025 and February 2026 caused damage to the timber pier and floating dock system . The damage from these two most recent storm events is the subject of this project.
