Also, approximately 80 feet of bank is eroded and vertical approximately 5 feet deep. Erosion is threating to undermine Wastewater Treatment Plant structures and pipeline. -- Address - Rockford Road Shelby, NC -- Lat/Long - 35.2458/-81.6775 -- Description- Approximately 100 feet of streambank has eroded 6 feet deep exposing two sewer lines. -- Address - 115 Pinecrest Street Shelby NC 28152 -- Lat/Long - 35.2529/-81.6775 Description - Approximately 100 feet of streambank has eroded vertically 3 feet deep. Another section has approximately 30 feet of streambank erosion vertically 4 feet deep. This erosion is threatening the stability of sewer line. This site also has a culvert running under Pinecrest Street where on inlet side banks are eroded approximately 20 feet on each side and vertically 8 feet deep. Address - Joe Hoyle Road Lawndale, NC 28090 - Lat/Long - 35.4621/-81.6481 - Description - Approximately 550 feet of streambank has eroded vertically 8-10 feet deep. Erosion is occurring on both sides of the stream channel.
