Project Replacement of Air Compressor and Dry Valve at the Senior Center for the Fire Protection System. The Town of Holden Public Works Department is requesting quotes for the Removal and replace of an existing Oil- lubricated Baseplate Fire Protection compressor and an existing Dry pipe valve csc model Ag. Reconnect main drain and existing air supply, Connect dry valve trip testing to verify functionality and restore system protection . Contractor to remove and dispose of existing compressor, valve, and related components to be replaced. Provide new compressor and valve, install in same location as existing, test and make ready for use. Contractor responsible for any electrical connections needed. All work to be done at Holden Senior Center located 1130 Main St Equipment to be provided and installed shall meet the following specifications: Air Compressor a. Motor: 1HP, single Phase 115v b. Include Digital Pressure regulator c. Compressor shall be designed for intended use within a fire protection system Acceptable products i. C-Aire S600 Baseplate Compressor ii. Or approved equal Dry Pipe Valve a. Size: 4-inch x 4-inch b. Connections: (Flange x groove) or compatible to system c. Trim: Galvanized d. Body: Ductile Iron e. Digital pressure Regulator f. Valve to designed for intended use within a dry pipe fire protection system g. Full assembly includes i. Pressure gauges ii. Main drain valve iii. Low pressure air switch iv.
