Construction of a new 60 ft. x 140 ft. five-bay fire station including site/grading, septic work, foundations, structural construction, roofing, siding, doors, windows, finishes, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and life-safety systems. New Hope Fire Department invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for construction of a new firehouse at 5883 New Hope Road, Moravia, New York. Work shall be completed in accordance with the New Hope Fire Department building and site plans . General construction and coordination: all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, temporary facilities, delivery, staging, installation, cleanup, and coordination of trades. Site work: layout, clearing, grading, excavation, fill/compaction, gravel lot and walks, drainage/culvert work, septic work, utility coordination , and related improvements shown on the plans. Building construction: foundations/slabs, apparatus bay slab and trench drains, framing, roof/trusses, exterior metal siding, roofing, insulation, drywall , partitions, doors, windows, overhead doors, and finishes shown on the plans. Building systems: plumbing, septic, electrical, ventilation, smoke/CO detection , life-safety components, and licensed trade work required by the plans and authorities having jurisdiction. Closeout: cleanup, record/as-built information, warranties, manuals, inspection approvals, certificate of occupancy/completion approvals, and required grant/owner closeout documentation.
