Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Newport, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and detention facility.
The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice Campbell Regional Juvenile Detention Center located in Newport; Kentucky seeks to replace the existing building hydraulic HVAC controls system with a new digital controls system. This project includes the removal of the existing system and the installation and startup of a new DDC controls system. System programming and startup are included as part of the project. The new system shall interface with the existing building equipment. The system is required to be interfaced with the Commonwealth Energy Management and Controls System (CEMCS) operated by the Division of Facility Efficiency under the Finance and Administration Cabinet. The existing gas-fired Makeup Air Unit (MAU) and exhaust fan serving the facility kitchen hood are also to be replaced under this project.
