The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary for the removal of approximately 4,961 cubic yards of sediment near Patrick's Ferry Boat Ramp, dewatering, erosion control for sediment spoils, stockpiling the material and returning the construction area to preconstruction conditions . Project is located in San Jacinto County, Texas. The Trinity River Authority of Texas (Authority) is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors with experience in mechanical and hydraulic dredging. The dredging services will take place at the Authority's Patrick's Ferry Public Boat Ramp located on the west side of Lake Livingston, approximately 1 mile south of the U.S. Highway 190 bridge crossing and accessible from Patrick's Ferry Road in Polk County, Texas. The Project consists of removing approximately 4,961 cubic yards (CY) of accumulated sediment from designated dredging areas within the boat ramp basin. Work includes, but is not limited to: mechanical dredging or hydraulic dredging, transport and placement of dredged material within the designated upland placement area, dewatering, debris removal, pre- and post-dredge hydrographic surveys, erosion and sediment control measures, and all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental work necessary to complete the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, drawings, permits, and applicable regulatory requirements. This bid opportunity includes two alternate bid items, one for hydraulic dredging and one for hydraulic dredging utilizing geotextile tube dewatering systems. This bid opportunity also includes a contingency bid item for hauling off the dredged material.
