Description

Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development.

Demolition of properties located at 216 Plum Avenue and 851 Unity Center Rd including water and sewer terminations and site restoration. The intent of the SOW is to demolish, without limitation, the structure associated with the property. Demolition of foundation and basement pads are included in the SOW. As part of the SOW, the contractor also shall leave a clean and unobstructed site that conforms to the natural grades of the site, and is free of safety hazards and debris. The contractor shall be permitted to utilize small uncontaminated bricks, blocks, and concrete pieces (i.e., which are six (6) inches or less in any dimension in size) as partial fill in the pits and trenches, provided that such materials are suitable for use as clean fill and are compliant with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's (PADEP) Clean Fill Policy and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
