The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing , installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number C071186, titled Student Affairs Rehearsal Facility and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a small building that will be used by Student Affairs to host band practices. The project request was for a building that is "a little bit nicer than a garage". The project includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Site work required to provide utilities to and from the building, 2. Concrete sidewalks to provide pedestrian access and accessible route to the building, 3. New building with utility closet, 4. Mechanical work for heat and cooling, 5. Electrical work to power and light the building , 6. Plumbing work to provide minimal water and sanitary, 7. Fire alarm work to meet code.
