The Work includes the construction of a 269LF 8" PVC sanitary gravity sewer extension along Main St (MO-F), including four precast manholes. The sewer extension will tie into the existing city gravity sanitary sewer line at the intersection of McPike St and Main St through the use of a doghouse manhole. The Main St sewer extension will also include the installation of five laterals. An additional 167LF long sewer main extension, lateral and a proposed manhole will also be constructed between Missouri Ave and Arlington Dr. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of The City of Vandalia, Missouri, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Question Deadline 10/03/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing.
