The purpose of this project is to install a new electrical service and associated electrical infrastructure at the District's Zone 2 Reservoir site located in Los Olivos, California. The scope of work includes installation of a new 100-amp, 120/240-volt, single-phase, 3-wire metered service pedestal and approximately 656 linear feet of electrical conduit and associated electrical infrastructure to provide power to reservoir water mixer(s). The work includes installation of electrical feeders, junction boxes, pull boxes, conduit, and associated appurtenances, as shown in the project plans Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to the District, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute all necessary Contract Documents and provide the required submittals for approval, all within ten (10) calendar days of the date of written Notice of Award. A bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of bidder security is enclosed with the bid Project work will begin as soon as possible following contractor selection and issuance of a Notice of Award. All work must be completed in an expeditious manner. No liquidated damages will be imposed under the Contract, but the District reserves the right to terminate the Contract if the work is not being pursued diligently and expeditiously, in accordance with the contractor's submitted and approved schedule. All materials to be used for the project and all plans for installation must be approved by the District in writing prior to the commencement of any work. All work must be completed and accepted by the District before final payment is issued to the contractor Bids will be evaluated and a contract may be awarded when the District has received bids from contractors showing interest and knowledge of the described work. A contract award is currently scheduled to be considered as part of the District's Board of Trustees meeting on October 20, 2026. Upon written Notice of Award, the successful bidder shall promptly execute all necessary Contract Documents, provide the required insurance submittals, and furnish satisfactory performance bond and payment bond documents, both in the amount of 100 percent of the bid price The District reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make an award to a responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the District Question Deadline 09/22/2026 No oral interpretations will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents.
