Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cape Charles, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Scope of Work The work generally includes: Installation of four (4) new 40kVa Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units, one each at the four (4) Ventilation Buildings at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. Minor building renovations to accommodate the new UPS units to include minor demolition work, installation of new transformers, new ductless split system heat pump, lighting, ceiling and associated cabling and conduit to connect the new equipment to the existing building systems. Any comments or questions concerning specifications or other provisions of this Request for Bid should be directed via email to Mr. Timothy R. Holloway, Director of Maintenance at tholloway@cbbt.com and shall be received at least 15 days prior to receipt of bid, October 15, 2026 with an answer to be given at least 10 days prior to bid, October 20, 2026.
