Demolition, site work and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Hilo, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; and for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
SUMMARY OF PROJECT A. The work to be done shall include performing all operations and furnishing all equipment, tools, materials and labor necessary to execute, complete and deliver all of the work and related items required for the project as called for on the drawings and as specified herein. B. This project includes but is not necessarily limited to the following general items of work: 1. Establish perimeter barricade and signage. 2. Demolish and remove existing footings, posts, and metal flashing. 3. Prepare existing grade below new footing. 4. Install new connectors to new footings as well as to beam/post connections. 5. Remove perimeter barricades upon completion of Work. All Request for Substitutions ( PDF documents) shall be emailed directly to: Dave.Moriuchi@hawaiicounty.gov. B. Cutoff date is Thursday, October 1, 2026, FOURTEEN (14) days prior to Bid Opening. This is to allow us time to respond in an addendum.
