Renovation of a military facility in Richmond, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and expertise necessary to repair and reconstruct the existing loading dock platform and stair system. Work includes demolition of failed and damaged concrete, removal and replacement of deteriorated reinforcement steel, installation of steel dowels and #4 reinforcement, forming and reconstruction of loading dock structural components, placement of 3500 PSI concrete, broom finishing, application of protective concrete sealants, installation of safety bumpers and yellow safety tread markings, and restoration of associated structural elements. The work also includes debris removal, barricading of the work area, coordination of material deliveries, adherence to PPE requirements, and compliance with VA Design Guides, VA Master Specifications, OSHA 29 CFR 1926, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. All repairs must meet VA structural, safety, and life-safety requirements, with final acceptance based on a walkthrough and verification of compliance with VA structural safety standards. Location: Central Virginia Health Care System, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, VA 23249. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
