Site work for a transportation facility in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a runway / taxiway.
A new turnout from existing Track 2 with at least 300 feet of non-electrified storage track will be added near the Richmond Heights Station and is being referred to as the Richmond Heights Turnout. The new turnout will be operated with a manual hand switch with electric lock. The proposed turnout and storage track will be constructed on Metro property and adjacent to existing Ameren transmission towers. The new turnout will need to provide Ameren future access for maintenance and repair of these towers. The project will include the construction of roughly 300 feet of wall demolition and construction of a new soldier pile retaining wall between Track 2 and the new turnout rail alignment. Q/A:- Written explanation desired by a Bidder regarding the meaning or interpretation of solicitation documents must be submitted in writing via iSupplier prior to 2:00 p.m. , St. Louis time, October 9, 2026.
