QUESTIONS SHOULD BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 2 days of the posting date. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: o Conduct a site visit to verify existing conditions prior to beginning work. o Coordinate all work with the NOAA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). o Isolate the seawater system and perform all work in a manner that minimizes disruption to facility operations. o Remove existing seawater piping, supports, brackets, and associated hardware as required to facilitate proper reinstallation. o Inspect all piping and components for damage, excessive corrosion, or wear. Notify the COR of any deficiencies requiring replacement before proceeding. o Reinstall the seawater piping system in the correct configuration as directed by the COR and in accordance with applicable engineering drawings or manufacturer recommendations. o Furnish and install new corrosion-resistant mounting hardware, including bolts, nuts, washers, anchors, clamps, pipe supports, brackets, and fasteners as required to complete the installation. o Replace any damaged or corroded hardware identified during removal. o Properly align, secure, and support all piping to prevent movement, vibration, sagging, and undue stress on fittings and equipment. o Install all supports and anchors to provide adequate structural stability and accessibility for future maintenance. o Restore all disturbed insulation, coatings, and protective finishes. o Remove all debris and dispose of waste materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
