Renovation of a medical facility in Syracuse, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 7,000-square-foot, four-story above grade medical facility.
CR#: 2139222 Suny Upstate Medical University is seeking qualifications for the full design services (programming, design, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration), of an architect / engineering team for the renovation of approximately 7,000 sf of the 4th floor of the POB North building at Community Hospital to meet the needs for both the Ophthalmology Clinic and Optometry Program. The space will share some support spaces and services, but they will function independently otherwise. This space must also be designed to meet Article 28 compliance. All questions to be by fax or email (email is preferred) to each: Jeanie Pender (penderj@upstate.edu) and Andrew Evans (Evansand@Upstate.edu). The RFQ is due 2:00 PM - Friday 23rd of October, 2026. The date and time for the last questions to be considered is 5:00 PM - Tuesday 13th of October, 2026 All questions will be answered by 5:00 PM - Thursday 15th of October, 2026. These will be issued as an Addendum. Contract Term: 840 Days State University of New York goals are: 15% MBE participation and 15% WBE participation of the total contract value and 6% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business participation goal. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The State University of New York Upstate Medical University reserves the right to reject any or all Qualification packages.
