The project includes the replacement of existing cameras with new high-resolution IP-based cameras, installation of new Cat6 and hybrid copper/fiber/coax cabling, upgraded network switching equipment, AI-based perimeter detection capabilities, and integration into the City's existing Genetec Security Center environment. A new recording server, and a new local workstation will be installed at Piper Tech for local monitoring and access. The City seeks proposals from qualified low-voltage security contractors to provide a complete, turn-key solution including design, engineering, furnishing, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, training, and warranty support for a secure, resilient, and future-ready surveillance system.
