Materials and installation of erosion control features, if necessary or requested by the M-NCPPC, Contractor, or Architect. b. Stripping of existing sod, disposing in a designated area, and rototilling of remaining existing sod clumps into the top 4-6 inches of topsoil in all turf-covered areas of work. Collection and disposal of excess sod debris in an area designated by the M-NCPPC. c. Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil in all areas to be graded. d. Keeping topsoil in place following rototilling operations in Work areas to be regrassed but not graded. e. Salvaging of the sand from the existing bunkers and stockpiling for use as the sand layer for the surfaces of new teeing areas and the surface of the target green for the Practice Bunker. f. Removal of other existing materials in the areas of Work including but not necessarily limited to: irrigation system components (Holes 12 & 13 Greens only), turf, bunker drainage and sporadic fabric liner, and any other materials necessary to perform the Work. g. Transportation and placement of fill material to the necessary areas of Work. GP-6 1. The Work is designed to be performed to most features with a balance of cut/fill and no need for export or import of fill. 2. Fill is material needed to complete the Work is to be obtained from fill generated by performing the construction of the Work and, if necessary, from the designated borrow area at Hole 11 Tees (see Golf Course Construction Plan). 4.
