A. This Section summarizes the Work of the Project: conversion of fourteen (14) existing campsites at Sandy Shore Recreation Area, Codington County, South Dakota, to full hookup service by extension of new sanitary sewer and potable water service to each site. B. Project Number: Sand26Pa. Owner: South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks (GFP). C. Principal elements of the Work include: 1. Approximately 1,100 LF of 4" Schedule 40 PVC gravity sanitary sewer, including two (2) saddle-tap connections to the existing City of Watertown gravity main, two (2) isolation valves, campsite sewer connections, and twoway cleanouts. 2. Approximately 1,100 LF of 1-1 /2" HDPE potable water service, including two (2) tie-ins to the existing park water system, stop and waste valves, and frostfree yard hydrants at each converted campsite. 3. Directional boring at asphalt road crossings and the existing field approach. 4. Trenching, dewatering, excavation support, backfill , base course, and site restoration. D.
