Renovation of an educational facility in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project The Mapleshade Elementary School Roof Project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 37,000 SF of 60 Mil PVC fully adhered roof covering, including 1/2 " Coverboard, two layers of Polyiso (tapered), and mechanically fastened with vapor retarder at sloped roof. Roof edge flashing, masonry flashing, and fascia are also included in this scope of work. The project also includes the installation of structural steel framing in support of the existing wood frame structure in order to support future solar panels. The removal, salvage and reinstallation of acoustic ceiling tiles and grids are required to facilitate the steel framing work. The removal/replacement of approximately 300LF of brick masonry is also required. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
