Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 18,000-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Demolition and site restoration including removal of structures, trees, shrubs, stumps, and pavement; sewer and water system infrastructure modification; utility abandonment; structural fill placement and compaction; grading; landscaping restoration. These types of projects shall include work equivalent or larger in scope, size, and complexity to the following: the complete demolition, disposal , and backfilling of a four-story commercial or institutional structure with a minimum 18,000-square-foot footprint; selective pavement cutting and removal; concrete drainage structure modifications including coring and PVC storm sewer construction; utility abandonment of pipe networks ranging from 4-inch to 30-inch in diameter using pumped flowable fill; complete water service disconnection from an active 12-inch asbestos-cement pipe (ACP); installation of 12- inch ductile iron pipe ( DIP) watermain including connections to existing ACP; structural backfill compaction and QA/QC testing; mass earthwork balancing and contractorproposed alternative grading strategies to optimize cut/fill volumes; construction staking and grading control ; importing, spreading, and fine grading topsoil; and comprehensive site restoration to establish a healthy, park-like lawn with positive drainage. Work must have included all incidental and collateral work necessary to deliver a fully stabilized site ready for future development within Village limits as shown on Plans and as described in Specifications and Contract Documents CD-2627- 01.
