The City of Columbia, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to construction of improvements at and around the intersection of SR- 6 (US31, Nashville Highway) and SR- 99 (US412, Bear Creek Pike). This project is Federally and State funded. The project shall be accomplished in accordance with TDOT Local Programs guidelines. The professional consultant engineering consulting firm must be on TDOTs pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT by the deadline for the Letters of Interest. The prequalified firm must have unlimited status. Responsibilities of the professional consultant firm include, but are not limited to: Required Scope of Services Responsibilities of the professional consultant engineering firm for CEI services shall be performed in accordance with the TDOT Local Government Guidelines for the Management of Federal and StateFunded Transportation Projects, latest edition, as issued by the TDOT Local Programs Development Office. Inspection and Documentation of all work activities performed by the contractor, as generally outlined in the TDOT Proposed Scope of Work for CEI, to ensure compliance with all project plans and specifications and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, requirements, and policies.
