Site work for a water / sewer project in Snow Hill, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will connect the Bali-Hi Cooperative Campground to the Lighthouse Sound WWTP. Since the Lighthouse Sound WWTP does not have the treatment capability to handle this additional flow, the campground will need to construct a package WWTP capable of providing the nutrient reduction needed to maintain compliance with the Lighthouse Sound Groundwater discharge permit. The connection of the campground will provide a large nutrient credit to the Lighthouse system, but treatment will still be necessary. Construction of a force main, pump station, and Lighthouse plant and spray field modifications will also be a part of this project. The project is included in the County 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 24,2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
