PBW No: 48359 Abandonment of water well including site preparation, demolition of well equipment and vault structure, video camera survey, casing perforation and destruction, excavation, casing removal, concrete mushroom cap installation, utility abandonment, site backfill, and hardscape restoration. The destruction of the well and vault, removal of onsite piping and equipment, abandonment of lateral connections, hardscape restoration, and final site filling and grading will be completed in this contract. The project includes perforation of the blank well casing and the placement and pressurization of neat cement grout and is described and provided for as part of these Bid Documents. The destruction will include the excavation and extrication of the well casing, and the placement of a concrete 'mushroom cap' on top of the exposed well casing and conductor casing.
