A. The Work is located in Larimer and Weld Counties, and extends from Larimer County Road 54, west of I-25 to Weld County Road 88, east of Larmier County Road 1. B. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing a welded steel raw water pipeline 42 inches diameter. Included, but not limited to, are associated appurtenances, including air vacuum and air release valves, blow-off valves, drain valves, manways, temporary pipe bulkheads, a corrosion protection system, provisions for pressure testing and connecting to other segments, and fiber optic (FO) conduit with pull boxes. It also includes a pressure gauge and transmitter, including any required power supply and communications panel that will interface with the fiber optic communications system and all other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents. C. Contracting Method: The Project will be constructed under a single prime construction Contract. Project will be contracted with Segment F.2 in a single contract, but Segment F.1 will be executed under separate Contract Documents by Others. Contractor is responsible for coordination of requirements at interface between F.1 and F.2. D. Hazardous Environmental Conditions: 1. To the best of Owner's knowledge, information , and belief, the prior use of the Site included agriculture, irrigation, ROW, and open space. This Project includes construction of Segments F.1 and F.2 of the Thornton Water Project. This Segment includes approximately 10 miles of fully welded 42 steel raw waterline installation to connect previously constructed segments to the source pump station through Larimer County. The project includes tunneled installation as well as open cut installation and associated facilities.
