Renovation of an educational facility in West Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Renovation of an elevator in Lynn Hall. Bonds: Bid Bond required (unspecified amount), Performance Bond required (unspecified amount). The remainder of the Questionnaires and Material Lists shall be submitted prior to 3:00 p.m. ( EST) on the 5th day of November 2026, to Capital Planning and Projects , 2550 Northwestern Avenue , Suite 1100 , West Lafayette, IN 47906, Phone (765 ) 494-0580 . Work Required: . The work required under this section consists of all labor, materials and services required for the complete and code compliant alteration (including operational verification) of all the equipment required for the elevators and as herein specified. All work including the accessory items shall be installed to A17.1, 2007 as amended by Indiana and all adopted, applicable codes by the State of Indiana. In all cases where a device or part of the equipment is herein referred to in the singular, it is intended that such reference shall apply to as many of such devices or parts as are required to make a complete installation. Due to occupancy in the facility during renovation, disruptions in service from the effected panel boards or distribution panels must be coordinated with Owner to determine if "scheduled shutdowns" are required. Minimization of noise, dust, fumes, etc.... will also be required. Service outages of more than one car at a time are unacceptable. The operation, repair, and maintenance of all cars in the group (including existing) will be the responsibility of the elevator contractor from the time they have mobilized until the completion of the project. Interfacing of the new cars into thegroup dispatcher will be coordinated with Owner to minimize inconvenience to building occupants. Adequate advance notification (minimum one week) will be given prior to the outage of more than one car for group connections. All required, and appropriate safety, signage, and barricading will be utilized as needed and required by company, University, and elevator industry field employee's safety handbook policies. Cutting, torching, welding, etc.... will require a "burn permit" issued from Fire and Equipment Services and will need at least a 2-day prior notification. All existing materials removed from site will be disposed of in a legal and environmentally conscious manner and the responsibility of the Elevator Contractor. Owner reserves the right to salvage any parts they so choose and will be notified in advance of when they will be available.
