The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 33,300 LF of 8-inch and 12-inch PVC water main, hydrants, valves and appurtenances along NYS Route 98, US Route 20, Molasses Hill Road and Dry Bridge Road in the Town of Alexander. Only written Requests for Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFIs will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. (Local Time) on October 13, 2026, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Mark Wright. via email: mwright@mountainengineers.com. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. Docs notes : A refund will be made by Town of Alexander in the amount of $200.00 to Bidder(s) or $100.00 to Non-Bidders, for the return of all the sets in good condition within (30) days of the bid date. 2. For a non-refundable fee of Seventy-Five Dollars ($75), interested firms may request and receive an electronic download of the bidding and contract documents. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The Town of Alexander reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
