DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: Debris to be removed from all storm drains. Storm drains shall be cleaned, rust removed for paint prep, and two coats of epoxy shall be applied at drain basins. Missing storm drain grates to be replaced . Wooden top handrail to be hand-cleaned and sanded . Approved penetrating oil sealer to be applied to wooden top handrail . Waterjet bridge deck and sidewalk to remove graffiti. Pressure wash barriers and metal guardrail . Guardrail to be hand-cleaned to prepare for new coatings. Prime coat of 100% solids epoxy primer to be applied to metal guard rail, followed by a finish coat of an approved coating system for an exterior railing application (i.e. Kynar). Masonry primer and anti-graffiti topcoat to be applied to jersey barriers. Bridge to be re-striped with a thermoplastic, typical traffic rated striping paint. One white line on each side, and a double yellow at centerline. No oral interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made. Requests for clarification should be made in writing to the A/E or Project Manager identified in the Invitation for Construction Bids and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The last day for questions will now be Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 4:00pm. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager.
