Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Quincy, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
Over Hanna Pond Bridge No 504043 The improvements under this Contract consist of replacing the structurally deficient bridge culvert (Bridge No. 504043) on Hanna Mill Pond Road over Hanna Mill Pond with a new concrete bridge (Bridge No. 504160) within its existing alignment. The single barrel arched pipe culvert located approximately 200 feet` west, of the bridge culvert is also being replaced with a concrete box culvert and concrete barrier. Other roadway improvements are paved shoulders, drainage improvements, guardrail, concrete barrier, and signing and pavement markings. Additionally, the weir structures and splash pads at the bridge and pipe culverts are being replaced with concrete covered steel sheet pile wall, riprap, and seal concrete. A project detour will be in place in Gadsden County. Total Roadway Length: 0.166 Miles Total Bridge Length: 0.012 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.178 Miles Contractors must have a current certificate of qualification in accordance with Florida Statute 337.14(1) and Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, on the date of the letting to bid on construction projects over $250,000.00 as established by the Departments budget.
