Verbal communication by either party with regard to this matter is invalid. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. Lissette Valdez - Project Coordinator lissettev@lmcci.com CC: Jaime Velasquez - Superintendent jaimev@lmcci.com Work of this contract consists of: Abatement and demolition of existing flooring to slab on grade; new resilient plank flooring and rubber base; new interior paint at walls, ceiling and all existing casework inside and out; new solid surface countertops at all sink and under-window casework locations ; new sinks, faucets and trim to and including new angle stops; new casework pulls; all hollow metal (HM) doors and frames prepared, primes and painted interior and exterior at all buildings, per the finish schedule; new ceilings, taped prior to paint, throughout the Office / Administration Building (existing ceilings are glued-up direct-applied gypsum board with some areas of suspended drop ceiling in some areas; reference CMSK). Construct the work of each contract under a single lump sum contract. Multiple contracts will be awarded by the District as outlined in the Notice Inviting Bids (Section 00 00 20) and in accordance with the Construction Manager's "Work Scope Special Conditions" (Section 01 01 10) for each work scope category. Each Category Contract will include ALL work in all of the specification sections noted under said Category in the Notice Inviting Bids. Division "0" and " 1 " of the Project Manual will be a part of ALL bids and contracts in ALL Categories.
