This project will support the ship-to-shore rapid charging system (RCS) located on the new Hybrid Electric Olympic Class (HEOC) ferries through the design and installation of a medium voltage power system running from the utility substation to the vessel mooring facility at the Clinton Terminal. This project will support the operation of full battery electric powered (HEOC) ferries that are being constructed to serve the route. The goal of the project is to ensure that charging infrastructure is available at the Clinton Terminal to allow HEOC vessels to achieve their full emissions reduction potential.
