Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Glenn Dale, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Design and build services for the new construction of a splash park facility. The Splash Park occupies approximately 3 acres within a larger 12.3-acre site that also includes the existing Glenn Dale Community Center. The Community Center will remain operational throughout the Splash Park's development. This Splash Park project represents the first phase of the overall site redevelopment. M -NCCPC retained a consultant to complete the preliminary concept design (Attachment 4), establishing the project vision, program elements, and general layout with key features Glenn Dale Community Center and Splash Park, centrally located in Service Area 3, has been identified as the site for a comprehensive replacement of the existing community center with a new and larger Multigenerational Center. Service Area 3 is in the Northern Area of Prince George's County. It stretches from the eastern edge of the Capital Beltway (1-495) to the County line with Anne Arundel County along the Patuxent River. The service area includes the City of Bowie, parts of Greenbelt and Glenarden, and communities of Lanham , Seabrook, Glenn Dale, Fairwood , Mitchellville, and others. There is a high demand for aquatic and non-aquatic recreational spaces in Service Area 3, due to the anticipated growth in population in the next ten years. The redevelopment of the Splash Park is the first phase of the Glenn Dale Community Complex. The Splash Park sits outside of the footprint of the future multigenerational center allowing the replacement of the Splash Park to be completed now as a standalone project to allow for community use immediately, rather than at the end of a lengthy construction period . M -NCPPC assumes that during this project the existing Splash Park will be demolished and re-built from the ground up. The new splash park development must be designed with sensitivity to the surrounding context. An established WB&A Trail runs along the southern edge of the property, and the D/B Team shall provide a connection point to this trail and a designated bike storage area. Bell Station Road, located west of the property, is designated as a scenic and historic roadway, and the development shall minimize visual impacts to preserve Bell Station Road's character. The D/B Team shall refer to Formula 2040 Master Plan (link provided above) for more information. Question Submission Deadline:October 26, 2026, 5:00pm Questions must be submitted via e-mail to: Olivia.Proctor@pgparks.com. This RFP has significant subcontracting opportunities; therefore, each Offeror must demonstrate compliance with the Commission's Non-Discrimination in Subcontracting Program. For this procurement, the Commission has established an MFD participation goal of 36%.
