Renovation of a municipal facility in Wainwright, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work of this Contract comprises the following: .1 Contractor shall provide testing for asbestos and hazardous materials within the scope area prior to demolition. Asbestos abatement and hazardous materials removal cost to be carried by the contractor under project scope of work. .2 Contractor to field verify which furnace serves the Courtroom and report to engineer. .3 Temporary disconnection of existing furnaces located in mechanical room including disconnection of gas piping and condensate piping to allow for temporary removal of furnaces. .4 Provide temporary heating and cooling to building as required when mechanical equipment is not operable. .5 Replace existing cooling coils, rooftop mounted condensing units and all refrigerant piping & ancillary components as required. .6 Modify existing ductwork to allow for new installation of cooling coils. .7 Installation of new UVC lighting fixtures for furnaces. .8 Installation of new backdraft dampers on twinned furnaces. .9 Reconnection of gas piping and condensate piping to existing furnaces and new cooling coils. .10 All electrical, structural, and controls work required to provide a complete functional and operational mechanical system.
