Description The Town of Warren is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the repair and stabilization of approximately twenty-five (25) linear feet of the existing granite seawall at the Warren Town Beach. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidental services necessary to complete the work in accordance with the requirements of this bid specification The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. The work shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following: o . Repair approximately twenty-five (25) linear feet of the existing granite seawall . Reinstall one (1 ) large, displaced granite slab located at the base of the seawall. Fill and compact voids between existing granite stones using suitable stone, riprap, or other approved materials necessary to restore the stability and structural integrity of the seawall. Reset, reposition, or realign adjacent granite stones as necessary to provide a stable and secure wall. Preserve existing granite materials wherever reasonably practicable. Remove and properly dispose of construction debris and unsuitable materials generated by the work. Maintain a safe work area and protect the public, Town property, and existing structures from damage during construction. Restore the work area to a clean, safe, and satisfactory condition upon completion. Perform all incidental work necessary to provide a complete and functional seawall repair. The contractor shall inspect the site and existing seawall conditions prior to submitting a bid. Any conditions that may affect the contractor's ability to complete the work shall be considered in the bid price The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the Town.
