Fire Station 028 has had a history of roof leaks throughout the entire station . Leaks have been repaired but leaks are continually present, especially during heavy rains. Replace Fire Department side only roofing at Fire Station 028 located at 7733 Greenleaf Ave. Whittier, CA 90602 Description Fire Department Side Only - Remove and dispose of the old flat roof system and install new John Mansville 60 mil single ply, or equivalent 60 mil roofing systems, such as GAF or Mule-Hide, or can use 60 mil EPDM. Installation will be according to manufacturer's specification Daily Clean-up and Duties: Space is limited ; all demo & construction debris will be removed from the sites each day, and the facility will be left secured. Do not track dirt and debris off-site. The driveway is to be swept and kept clean. The station dumpster may not be used for project-related debris. Make sure dust/debris does not migrate into the station facilities. The contractor shall take the necessary precautions to make sure doors and windows are closed. Hazards shall be properly barricaded and/or covered to prevent injury. Contractor will provide their own restroom and wash station.
