Replacement of water service lines on Elder Street. This contract is for the replacement of existing water services on Elder Street, from Muskoka Road North to First Street North, in the Town of Gravenhurst, within the District Municipality of Muskoka (approximately 120 metres). Work to be performed under this contract may include, but not be limited to: installation of a new 50 mm diameter polyethylene CTS municipal service tubing series 200 watermain; live tap connection to the existing watermain on Muskoka Road North; new 25 mm diameter individual water service laterals and curb stop valves to serviced properties on Elder Street and First Street North; installation of new isolation valves; abandonment, removal and capping of existing watermain and services; trench excavation, granular bedding and backfill; watermain pressure testing, disinfection, flushing, and bacteriological testing; siltation and erosion control; construction dewatering; and associated road, driveway, curb, sidewalk and boulevard reinstatement.
