The City of Highland Park, Illinois is soliciting proposals from experienced vendors to provide the City of Highland Park with a replacement and upgraded Fire Station 33 (AV) system that supports amplification and various AV distribution needs. The selected vendor will provide the following replacement and upgrade to the current A/V system: a. Verification that the ceiling mount speakers are in good working order b. Installation of two (2) short-throw projectors c. Installation of White boards with proper film coatings to be used as the viewing surface of the projectors (the desire is to not install retracting projector screens) d. Dual wireless mic system; optional handheld or earpiece/belt pack options e. Installation of a single side wall mounted LCD TV on an adjustable arm f. A/V plug-in panels i. Locations: one on podium (podium to be purchased outside of this request), one on the wall near/below the whiteboard screens ii. HDM inputs g. A/V Control surfaces i. Routable controls ii. Routing matrix for all to share, all to have unique sources iii. Sources, wall jack, podium jack, dedicated podium PC h. Audio i. Microphone mute/unmute & volume control ii. Source(s) mute/unmute & volume control 2. The City will provide the interested vendors with the following: a. Information, specifications, photographs and layout of the current Training Room space b. Opportunity and access for in-person viewing of all pertinent aforementioned location and related infrastructure 3. Training & Materials a. The vendor will provide a training session(s) with key staff members b. The vendor will provide all equipment user manuals and wiring diagrams in both print and digital form 4. Warranty, Support & Service Agreement Options a. The vendor will provide a warranty on the work completed, including length of warranty b. The vendor will provide a dedicated contact person for technical support and any site visits into the future c. The vendor will provide 1, 3 & 5 year service agreement options, including options for renewal and future costs
