Potential scope for demolition of existing buildings and site work. Total Project Cost is $ 76,074,950.00 estimated total Construction Budget is $ 66,702,900.00. The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (ODBH) operates six regional psychiatric hospitals across the state, providing 24/7/365 short-term intensive inpatient care, community-supported environments, and court-committed patient care. To keep pace with growing needs, ODBH is updating its facilities. Currently, the Northwest Ohio Behavioral Health (NOBH) campus includes four patient units in a newer Annex building and one unit in the older Main Building. Due to current facility conditions, a new adjacent facility will be constructed on the NOBH campus. Opportunities for additional scope - including demolition of the existing facilities and site work - may become available over the span of the project. Key project priorities include: Five new 26-bed patient units in a secure environment Admissions and Administration offices A gymnasium supporting indoor and outdoor recreation Operations and staff support areas A Central Utility Plant The Architect/Engineer (A/E) will develop the Program of Requirements (POR) as part of this project. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistently with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner's policies and procedures.
