Heating system decentralization improvements at multiple buildings. The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking qualified contractors to provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, coordination, testing, startup, and incidentals necessary to complete heating system decentralization improvements at multiple buildings located at our St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center located at 1 Chimney Point Dr, Ogdensburg, NY 13669. The work has been divided into the following three (3) separate Lots: Lot 1 - Building 37 - Maintenance Shops / Mechanical Stores Lot 2 - Building 69 - Powerhouse Lot 3 - Building 105A/B - Unity Center / Synagogue 1. Review the applicable Scope of Work, drawings , schedules, details , and specifications for each Lot being bid. 2. Verify existing field conditions and dimensions prior to ordering equipment or commencing work. 3. Coordinate all work with OMH and St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center representatives. 4. Protect existing buildings, utilities, equipment, finishes, and occupied areas from damage during construction. 5. Maintain safe access to occupied portions of the facility throughout the work. 6. Coordinate all shutdowns, interruptions, and connections to existing building systems with the Facility prior to performing the work. 7. Provide all cutting, patching, supports, sleeves, penetrations, firestopping, sealing, and restoration required to complete the work unless specifically indicated otherwise. 8. Remove and legally dispose of demolition debris and equipment designated for disposal. 9. Maintain the work areas in a clean and safe condition throughout construction. 10. Provide all testing, startup, adjustment, and commissioning necessary to demonstrate that newly installed equipment and systems are operating as intended. 11. Restore areas disturbed by the work to a condition equal to or better than the condition existing prior to construction.
