The Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority (THEA) in Tampa, Florida is soliciting a Request for Proposals ("RFP") including Expanded Letters of Response (ELOR) from Firms/Respondents that are Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pre-qualified to provide parks design services. This contract will cover the design of proposed park facilities that include, but is not limited to, 12th Street Park, Meridian Trail and Storm Water, Bay to Bay Park and Selmon Greenway from 12th Street to 19th Street. Selection will be made from the ELOR Package and oral presentation. The Meridian Corridor Stormwater Vision (the Vision) presents a bold and inspiring transformation of the Meridian Avenue Corridor (the Corridor) into Tampa's newest destination. It organizes the Corridor into two distinct components: the Meridian Interpretive Trail (the Trail) and the Meridian Streetscape (the Streetscape). Though each component is a separate effort, together they form a unified open space strategy that places stormwater and safety at the forefront - Utilizing THEA property to improve water quality and foster environmental stewardship to establish a vital open space corridor for Tampa.
