Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.
Bids are invited for work as follows as well as all related miscellaneous work: This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to perform repairs to the cored slabs and substructure, as directed in the plans. Work includes: prestressed concrete cored slab repair, substructure repair using concrete, shotcrete, and epoxy resin injection; disposal of demolition and waste material; seeding and mulching all grassed areas disturbed; and all incidental items necessary to complete the project as specified and shown on the plans. Work will be performed on the existing bridges at the following locations: 1) Bridge #400388 on Centennial St. over Norfolk Southern Railroad in High Point. 2) Bridge #400390 on Wrenn St. over Norfolk Southern Railroad in High Point. 3) Bridge #400392 on Hamilton St. over Norfolk Southern Railroad in High Point. All miscellaneous work related to the above. Quantities and major work items are more thoroughly described herein.
