Renovations to the school kitchen facility. Bonds: Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount). Each Subcontractor proposer shall examine the Proposal Documents carefully and, as soon as possible, prior to the date for receipt of Subcontractor proposals, shall make written request to the Construction Manager for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which he may discover. Any interpretation or correction will be issued as an Addendum by the Architect. Only a written interpretation or correction by Addendum shall be binding. No proposer shall rely upon any interpretation or correction given by any other method. This project is a two-phase summer renovation work at Northbrook High School. It involves the demolition and expansion of the existing kitchen and serving lines, new manager’s office, dry storage, and restrooms with lockers, along with the addition of new cafeteria tables to increase seating capacity. The scope of work includes selective demolition, system upgrades, new food service equipment, acoustical ceilings, floor finishes, partitions, openings, and MEP systems.
