Fencing improvements at the town high school. It is the intention of this specification to arrange for the procurement of the following: Labor, materials, equipment, and installation necessary to complete the following work at various locations at the Braintree High School athletic complex, located at 128 Town Street in Braintree, MA 02184. Include all hinges, latches, fittings, concrete, hardware, disposal, and incidental materials necessary for a complete installation. All gate materials shall have a black finish/coating. Pricing shall include all labor, materials, equipment, delivery, installation, removal/disposal, and other costs necessary to complete the work. All pricing must account for applicable Massachusetts prevailing wage requirements. A prevailing wage schedule will be provided and must be incorporated into the contractor's pricing and payroll obligations for the project. Braintree High School Track Access Area 1. Furnish and install one (1 ) approximately 14' wide x 3 ' high galvanized chain-link gate. 2. Gate shall be supported by one (1) heavy-duty 4" post installed in an approximately 48" deep concrete footing. 3. Modify the existing fence/opening as necessary to increase the overall access opening to approximately 18'. 4. Include any necessary modifications to existing posts, fencing, and associated hardware. 5. Remove and dispose of approximately two (2) sections of existing 6' high chain- link fence in the concession area. Braintree High School Side Turf Area 1. Furnish and install 4' high x 30' wide double-drive chain-link gates. 2. Gates shall be supported by one (1) heavy-duty 6" post installed in approximately 48" deep concrete footings. This contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total price for all specified goods and services. Unless otherwise stated, the quantities set forth herein are ESTIMATES ONLY. Any quantities indicated on the Bid Price Form or elsewhere in the bid package are estimates only and are given solely as a basis for the comparison of bids. The Vendor shall have no claim for additional compensation, or refuse to do the work called for, or provide the requested items, by reason of the actual quantities involved being greater or lesser by any amount than those called for in the bid. The respondent's submission of a proposal in response to the RFQ shall constitute acceptance by the respondent of the terms and conditions of this RFQ, terms of which shall be incorporated by reference in any contract executed pursuant to this RFQ. The specifications listed as part of this RFQ are intended to reflect minimum standards required by the RFQ. Should the Respondent's current specifications exceed these, they shall be considered minimum and furnished.
