Rehabilitation of the existing apron at the Emporia Municipal Airport. Rehabilitate Apron (Base Bid) The construction sequence for this project shall consist of three (3) phases and shall be completed in the allotted fifty (50) calendar days or less. Phase 1 shall be completed in twenty (20) calendar days or less, Phase 2 shall be completed in thirty (30) calendar days or less, Phase 3 shall run concurrently with Phase 2 and be completed in ten (10) calendar days or less. Shifting of contract time between phases is not permitted. The existing features shown on these plans are those noted in the field and those taken from record drawings. This does not guarantee that all features are shown on the Plans. There will be no additional payment to the Contractor due to variations in size, quantity, or location of existing features. Any variation or discrepancy identified by the Contractor in the field shall be reported to the Engineer immediately. Extreme caution shall be used when working near existing light fixtures, underground electrical ducts, underground electrical cable and any other airport fixtures. Should damage occur to any of these items, they shall be replaced immediately at the Contractor's expense, to the satisfaction of the Engineer Bonds: 5% Bid Bond.
