Pre-demolition hazardous materials survey of existing structures. The Contractor agrees to provide the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) with all services necessary to perform a comprehensive pre-demolition Hazardous Materials Survey. These services shall include, but not be limited to, providing all required labor, equipment, supplies , permits, materials, tools, laboratory fees, travel costs, incidentals, and any other associated costs necessary to identify, sample, analyze, classify, and document hazardous materials in accordance with all applicable federal , State of California, and local environmental laws and regulations, as well as all applicable city and county codes and regulations. Hazardous materials include, but are not limited to, friable and non-friable asbestos, Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM), Presumed Asbestos Containing Material (PACM), Asbestos-Containing Construction Material (ACCM), lead-based paint, lead-containing paint, mold-contaminated materials, universal wastes, and any other regulated substances requiring identification prior to demolition.
